-Katie Couric will host a pre-Grammys special on February 4th (the real Grammy's air on February 8th) on CBS, which will feature Justin Timberlake, Lil Wayne, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, the Jonas Brothers, Carrie Underwood, Metallica, Ne-Yo, John Legend, Rascal Flatts, Duffy, Adele, Kid Rock, Jazmine Sullivan, Jordin Sparks and T-Pain. The Grammys will feature performances by Katy Perry, Coldplay, the Jonas Brothers, Kenny Chesney, Lil Wayne, Carrie Underwood, and per Billboard -- Jennifer Hudson.
-Katy Perry announced she wanted to be celibate for one year as a New Years Resolution (despite picking on the Jonas Brothers' chastity vow at the Video Music Awards...while singing Madonna's "Like A Virgin" injecting their names into the song...a girl never forgets), but per The Sun (because they are so reliable...however this story itself is ridiculous) -- she's already ditched this plan. Wow. Yet another publicity stunt to add to Ms. Perry's repetoire.
-USA Today is reporting that Elliot Yamin has 35 songs already finished for his still untitled sophomore album, which could see release later this year. It should feature production by Jermaine Dupri, JR Rotem, Stargate & Harvey Mason Jr! Now I'm intrigued!
-It was announced Wednesday that "Dancing With the Stars" dancer/cutie turned country singer Julianne Hough will be opening up for Toby Keith on his upcoming tour for dates starting on February 6 in Louisville, to February 22 in Des Moines.
-E! Online is reporting Mariah Carey is set to duet with her husband Nick Cannon's younger brother Reuben (in other words, her brother-in-law), on a track that will appear on his upcoming album, due for release later this year. Sigh. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Has she forgotten she's Ms. Effing Mimi?
-As I mentioned before, the fury surrounding Britney's supposed third 'Circus' single, "If You Seek Amy", will have modified lyrics for its radio cut. The Sun confirmed that the lyrics "If you seek Amy" (F-U-C-K Me) will be changed to "If you see Amy". Riiiight. Much better. I'm not offended now that it's just "F-U-C Me".

Good news on Elliott, and bad news on Katy. The world doesn't need her accidentally reproducing. I've got to say that "Dancing" might be the perfect venue for Federline, given his former occupation. Now he's just a professional sponge.
Hey gorgeous how are u? Have u heard the new Lil' Wayne yet? Amazing!
